I was nearby for work purposes and opted to stay the night rather than brave the long journey home. I was hungry and thought I'd give Benner's a go.
I was extremely well looked after. I had the seafood chowder and brown bread which was tasty and not too heavy. I still had room afterwards for something sweet. I had the chocolate brownie (the portion was very generous!) which came with whipped cream and ice cream. Yum!
My only grievance was that I could tell that it was a cheap/low quality vanilla ice cream.

The waitress kindly facilitated my request for dairy free milk to go with my tea. A great way to chase down dinner.

The burger was very good. The mushroom toast was a beautiful combination of mushrooms, almonds, kale and parmesan. Avocado toast was delicious as well. The pancakes were sweet delicious and decadent. We would come back in a heartbeat.
